Les Echos, founded 100 years ago, is France's leading business daily newspaper with a circulation of 150.000. Our readership is the French business community. For the last 20 years, we were fully owned by the Financial Times Group. We were sold last December to LVMH, as Pearson (the holding that owns the FT Group) has been divesting its press assets (it also sold the Financial Times Deutschland).

I do not cover product launches. Unless it indicates a trend that can lend itself to a feature.
I am always on the lookout for innovative technologies, services, business models.
I am a correspondent for a French publication. However, I am interested in the same stories as my American colleagues and I want the same access they have to corporate. A French angle or flavor can be a plus to a pitch but is NEVER required nor is it hardly ever sufficient to pique my interest.
